This is really a very bright flavoured distinctly fruity red wine that is surprisingly light bodied and just slightly sweet. It is nice and crisp with a smooth finish (no unpleasant aftertaste either), and was delicious with the Thai yellow curry we had for dinner tonight. It had just the right amount of sweetness to offset the spice in the food and would actually be really good with a fruity dessert too with its very forward strawberry flavour and a little hint of plum and melon, while still being very grapey and a simple, straight forward wine. Would be a perfect wine for Sangria and a great red wine for those who typically hate red wine. An interesting thing to note, the variety of grape used (Muscato) contains among the highest concentrations of antioxidant flavenoids. It is very drinkable, and we definitely will be buying this one again!
